About the author:

I grew up daydreaming about fairytales, and my love for discovering new worlds has never died. I am not one of those writers who always knew I would write. I thought that was what other people did until one day, a few years ago, I took a challenge from a friend and typed my first words. My journey has been wonderful, and I cannot imagine a day where I would ever give up writing. My love for reading is what fueled my imagination in the first place and still does. When I am not writing or reading, I enjoy family time with my husband and two children. My family and I live in a quiet community in Northern Utah, and I am so thankful for the rich life I have    been blessed with.

SUPERNOVA by Elizabeth Sharp Scavenger Hunt!

Today, as part of the release of Supernova, I've been asked to share my superhero alter ego. Now, normally that's the kind of thing one should keep under lock and key, but since Elizabeth asked so nicely, I've decided to share my secret identity.

My superhero is Tempest. She has the ability to control the weather--mostly to call up storms. It's a rare day she's asked to make it sunny and 70!

Tempest really likes retro dresses. So, this is her fave outfit to wear. Believe it or not, it's practical; running and climbing and doing all that stuff that superheroes do is a breeze in this due to a roomy skirt.



If it's raining, she likes to wear her raincoat:



Being somebody who controls the weather, Tempest often has to change her footwear. Heels are not practical superhero footwear, no matter what the movies tell you. Or so Tempest says! When it's wet, she likes to wear these bad boys:


And when it's dry, she likes these:



A superhero mask is totally necessary. Rain or shine, this mask helps Tempest sparkle:

Elizabeth has a near crippling Facebook addiction, dwarfed only by her need for Dr. Pepper. A self-proclaimed techno geek, she loves cell phones, computers, tablets and all things technological. The internet has to be the greatest invention since the wheel, in her opinion. She lives in a quiet subdivision with her husband, one-year-old son, three cats, and far too many electronics. It’s quite possible she has some raccoon in her DNA, because she loves glitter and anything that sparkles. She enjoys making jewelry and costumes.
