starting with a quick and jumpy piano beat, the song gleefully trips forwards without any blaring lulls to drag it down (even slow bridges are shoved forwards with by an unrelenting piano). everything is, well, frenetic - the piano, the vocals (which, at times, almost seem to be rushed, as if the band fears they're going to be kicked off the stage at any moment and wants the audience to hear every last drop of goodness), the drum, the bass...
everything. simply frenetic.
even the end. which, rather than fading into the wild blue yonder (as the melody would perhaps like to), the backing vocals keep up the pace.
exhausting? yes, in a way. but also, very, very rewarding. give it a try, and try to tell me you didn't love the ride:
